Dear Mom & Dad,

Asa and I are usually very patient and accommodating with your silly antics and odd behaviors.  However, we cannot accept you arbitrarily changing the time this past weekend.  We don’t care about your lame excuse that Daylight Saving Time Ended, and therefore the clocks are turned back one hour.  This means nothing to us.  What is important to us, is that because of this tomfoolery our meals are now served an hour late.  This is an outrage!

But Living with a Golden is all about compromise.  So we have a proposal that would make us both happy – serve us four meals a day instead of two!  Breakfast will now be served at 6:00 AM Old Breakfast Time and again an hour later at 6:00  AM New Breakfast Time.  This will repeat again at 5:00 PM Old Dinner Time and 5:00 PM New Dinner Time.  It is the only logical solution if you continue to insist on messing with our mealtime.  Now if you don’t mind, you owe us a Second Breakfast, and we suggest you do so before we get too irritable.
