Due to miscommunication between Mom and Dad, for the first time in a very long time, I am home alone for what could be a considerable amount of time. They each have places to be, and neither could let me tag along. Before leaving, Mom kissed me on my head and said, “You’re in charge, my good boy!”

Me? In charge? Don’t panic! Don’t panic! I’ve got this! I mean I did this countless times with Angel Chuck Billy. How hard could it be on my first solo mission?

I took the sentinel post at the window, ready to perform my duty as guard dog. Oh wait, better stop smiling. Sentinel duty is serious work.
