Solid Advice for Back to School

As many of our friends with both four legs and two, young and old, go back to school, I would like to share with you the solid advice I gave Asa when he was just a puppy.  These words of inspiration can be found etched in stone along the Babson Boulder Trail in Dogtown Woods, in Gloucester, Massachusetts.

Always study hard…
…And use your head.
Remember, it is important to be on time. Alright, maybe not literally like Asa, but you get the idea.
Sure, going back to school is a lot of work.
But if you stick with it and show initiative…
…Your intelligence will come shining through…
…Because your ideas do matter!
After all, if you never try, you never win!
Just remember no matter how small you feel, always show integrity.
Because the truth does matter…
…As much as kindness.
And finally, as you go back to school remember loyalty is important, because the friends you make today may be the ones by your side for a lifetime.
