Mark your calendars because Lucky Pup Rescue is hosting two great events to get the Holiday Season off to a great start!  As part of “Pajamas Shopping Day” in the Kennebunks, Lucky Pup Rescue is hosting the Pet Lovers Marketplace on Saturday, November 26, 2016.  Find the perfect gifts for the four-legged friends on your Christmas list, while supporting local businesses and craftspeople who provide pet related products and services. There will also be mimosas to help you get your Christmas shopping off to a good start!  The Pet Lovers Marketplace will be located at Weirs Motor Sales (1513 Portland Road, Arundel, ME) from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM on small business Saturday, November 26.  Be sure to also explore the other fine retailers and restaurants participating in this shop local event throughout the Kennebunks and Arundel.  Some businesses are even offering special discounts for those who shop in their PJs!

Then the following weekend from December 2 through December 4, 2016 join Lucky Pup Rescue for their first annual Adopt-a-Tree Festival!  In keeping with Lucky Pup’s mission of matching dogs in need with forever homes, the goal of the Adopt-a-Tree Festival is to send beautifully decorated trees home with new families!  Local organizations, businesses and families have been hard at work decorating specially donated Christmas trees with a wide variety of themes.  Come be inspired by these traditional and whimsical trees all while helping a good cause!  The Adopt-a-Tree Festival will take place at Wallingford Farm (21 York Street, Kennebunk, ME) on Friday December 2, 1:00-8:00; Saturday December 4, 9:00-8:00; and Sunday December 4, 9:00-1:00.  The raffle drawing will be held on Sunday afternoon, and trees may be picked up by winners on Sunday and Monday.
