There are two great events happening at Dog Mountain this weekend, making it the perfect summer getaway for you and your pups! Hosted by the Stephen Huneck Gallery, in St Johnsbury, Vermont, the Summer Dog Party will be taking place on Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 12 Noon to 4:00 PM, and the Levitt AMP St. Johnsbury Music Series continues on Sunday, August 5, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Saturday’s tail wagging festivities include live music by White Steer, and farm fresh local food from Chez Mami. Additional activities include dog contests, swimming, hiking, lawn games and more! There will also be a bounce house and other family friendly activities for kids.
Then on Sunday the summer concert series at Dog Mountain continues with a performance by Grammy award winning ensemble, Flor de Toloache! Flor de Toloache is New York City’s first and only all-female mariachi group, with a fresh, versatile and unique take on traditional Mexican music. There will also be a variety of food vendors and a beer tent.
Admission for both events is FREE for dogs and their human friends. However, to help support future parties tax-deductible donations to Dog Mountain are always welcome to maintain this dog paradise.
Dog Mountain is home to 150 acres of meadows, trails, swimming pond, Dog Chapel and the Stephen Huneck Gallery. The Dog Park and Chapel are free and always open to the public. Dogs are welcome to run off-leash, play, swim, hike and best of all meet other dogs!
