The Exeter UFO Festival is Back!

They’re baaaack! After a two year hiatus the Exeter UFO Festival is back! Normally we recommend events that support dog related nonprofits. But the Exeter UFO Festival is our one exception. This festival draws UFO enthusiasts from across the country, and includes presentations by nationally known ufologists. If you’re a human…or even an Alien…I recommend the Exeter UFO Festival this Saturday, September 3 and Sunday, September 4, 2022, in Exeter, New Hampshire.

Alright, I admit dogs are NOT allowed to attend the lectures, but there is still plenty to see and do outside with family friendly activities for kids. This includes an Alien Costume and Alien Pet Costume contest taking place on Saturday from 12 Noon to 12:30 PM at the Town House Common Parkat the corner of Front and Court Streets. Not to brag, but Asa won a ribbon in the costume contest back in 2019, while I got interviewed for a podcast. But I digress.

For the humans who want to take a deep dive into the world of ufology, inside the Exeter Town Hall there will once again be an impressive schedule of speakers. Among the participants this year will be Ralph Blumenthal, who for almost two decades has been the biographer of John Mack’s research into alien encounters, and as a member of the New York Times team, broke the UFO/Pentagon story of 2017. Kathleen Marden will once again be returning to share the latest evidence in her quest to understand what happened to her aunt and uncle, Betty and Barney Hill on that fateful night in 1961. Also Peter Robbins returns this year to discuss the role of one of the nation’s top newspapers in the government coverup of the UFO phenomenon. For the complete schedule of who will be presenting and when, please visit ExeterUFOFestival.org.

The Exeter UFO Festival is a fundraiser for the Exeter Area Kiwanis Club, with 100% of the profits going to local children’s charities, children’s programs, and community programs. To attend the lectures series is $30.00, which is good for both Saturday and Sunday, and includes a commemorative pin. Tickets can be purchased at the door. In addition, separate tickets are available to attend a special dinner to meet the speakers, or to take a trolley to see the sites of the UFO sighting in Kensington, which occurred 57 years ago on September 3, 1965. Proceeds from the food and souvenir stands will also support this fundraiser for Exeter Area Kiwanis Club’s charities.
