For years now these rickety old stairs have been a tripping hazard and an eyesore. But let’s face it, Dad has a really long to-do list for projects around the house, and wasn’t going to rise to the challenge of fixing them anytime soon. Therefore, as his little helpers I decided that Chuck Billy and I should undertake this multi-step project and rebuild the stairs!

Chuck Billy: Why do I have the feeling with these stairs you’ll be up to something that could let me down?

Asa: Why do you always doubt me? I read a step by step book!

Asa: Is it measure once and cut twice? Our cut once measure twice? Eh, I’ll figure it out as I go along.

Asa: What music do builders like to listen to? The Carpenters!

Chuck Billy: Brace yourselves, these puns are about to get worse!

Asa: Why was the construction worker released after being accused of a crime? There wasn’t any concrete evidence!

Chuck Billy: I think I just got framed!

Asa: See, Chuck Billy, isn’t our new stage…oops, I mean stairs, coming along awesome!

Chuck Billy: Well it does look sturdy…

Asa: Of course it is sturdy! This post is on the level!

Asa: Oh dear, the Great Pumpkin left his wooden dentures in my yard again!

Chuck Billy: It appears Asa is well on his way to building a stairway to success! But don’t tell him that!

Asa: Tah Dah! The stairs are done! And a definite step up from the old ones!
