I am a firm believer that timing is everything. However, despite my best efforts to instill this belief in Asa, he continues to ignore me. Case in point, despite the fact it is snowing today, he has decided to shed his winter coat in preparation for warmer days ahead. Asa’s rationale? The Groundhog, a rodent who lives underground, promised an early spring, and “why would he lie?”

Oh Asa, you really need to learn not to trust everyone you meet on the internet! I’m sure Punxsutawney Phil means well. But he’s a celebrity, not a meteorologist. You just need to look out the window to see the snow is still piling up, or step outside in the bitter cold temperatures to know spring isn’t coming anytime soon. Yet here you stand in your summer wardrobe. Now if I were you, I’d start rolling on that pile of fur to see if you can get it to stick back on you.
