All dressed up in your ugly Christmas sweater but with no place to go?  Well you’re in luck!  This weekend there are two great opportunities to show off your favorite festive sweater all while helping animals in need!  Please note these events are for humans only.  But dogs, isn’t it about time they give you a break from looking silly, and let humans have the spotlight instead?  

Say hoppy holidays while wearing your favorite ugly sweater at the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland’s Ugly Sweater Party hosted by Foundation Brewing Company.  The fun takes place this Friday, December 14, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Foundation’s taproom (1 Industrial Way, Portland, ME).  Tickets are $10 per person with all ticket sales to support the important mission of ARLGP.  Also $1 of every flight and 10 ounce pour that evening will go towards the animals.  Prizes will be given to the top three ugly sweaters, as well as a special prize for the best animal themed sweater.  All partygoers will be entered and will receive an official voting ballot.  For more information visit Ugly Sweater Party.  

Then on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 12 Noon, Backyard Brewery on South Mammoth Rd in Manchester, NH will be hosting the Ugly Sweater 4 Miler to benefit the Manchester Animal Shelter.  Presented by Tito’s Handmade Vodka, this 4 mile run, jog or walk, includes a finish line photo with Santa, timed results, 1 Tito’s signature cocktail (ID must be presented), and plenty of swag.  In fact the first 50 participants to register will receive a 2018 Tito’s Ugly Christmas sweater.  Registration is $35, and all entrants must be 21+, with proceeds to benefit the Manchester Animal Shelter.  For more information and to register, please visit Ugly Sweater 4 Miler.
