Good news! The draining has become a drip, and I haven’t had a sneezing fit in days! So with blankets in tow, I was welcomed back upstairs to sleep in the bedroom! I still have a cough after lying down, but that also is becoming less often as I work the gunk out. Slowly but surely I am getting better! While I wait to get the stitches out later on this week, I thought I’d fill you in on what I’ve been doing during my downtime.
I’ve watched a lot of Midsomer Murders. So much so that I think Detective Chief Inspector Barnaby was starting to consider me a suspect! But I have an alibi! Mom and Dad have been with me 24/7 these past couple weeks.

It was very kind of Weird Al Yankovic to take time out of his busy schedule to keep me company when I was napping.

Another friend who kept me company is my new bestie, Mr. Snotty! I squished the left side of his head in, so we’d be twins. Thank you Freya for my stuffie friend!

To help loosen up the gunk, I’ve been going on walks. Lots and lots of walks! This gets me coughing, or should I say honking! One morning there were geese in the field, and after a coughing fit, a few honked back at me! Who knew I was fluent in goose now? But I have read that sometimes after traumatic surgeries folks develop new skills.

Speaking of after surgeries, you know how they say never make major purchases or decisions while recovering? I should have listened. I’m having second thoughts about the tattoo I got on my head commemorating my world tour of Maine. Luckily the fur will grow back there. I do like the Llily Llama neck tattoo though. So sweet of her to suggest it.

Speaking of Llily Llama, I have a backlog of places I visited, before my surgery, on Asa’s World Tour of Maine. Now that I’m feeling better, I’ll be sharing those in the days ahead, while I continue to take it easy and heal. Thank you again for all your kind words and prayers through this ordeal! I’m feeling so much better now! Thank You!!!!
