This Veterans Day Weekend have a great time while also making a real difference in the lives of disabled veterans at the 7th Annual Walk and Wag for Veterans! Taking place this Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at Great Brook Farm State Park (984 Lowell Street, Carlisle, MA), the 7th Annual Walk and Wag for Veterans is fun filled day with a scenic walk, food trucks, vendors, music, 100.7 WZLX’s Karlson & MacKenzie; a silent auction, raffles, Touch-a-Truck display of military vehicles; kids activities; service dog demonstrations and a demonstration by the Massachusetts Mounted Police Equestrian Unit!
All proceeds will benefit Operation Delta Dog, a nonprofit organization with a mission to rescue shelter dogs and train them to work as service dogs for disabled veterans who suffer from Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). The dogs get the homes they need, and the veterans get the help they deserve!
