Ales for Tails, Portland, ME

Grab your leashes and head to Portland for Maine’s only dog friendly beer festival, Ales for Tails!  Hosted by the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland, the fun takes place this Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Thompson’s Point (1 Thompson Point Road, Portland, ME), and features locally-brewed beers, food truck delicacies, music, and activities for dogs.  For the humans there will be over a dozen local brewers participating, and Starbucks will be whipping up foamy puppachinos for the four-legged attendees.  There will also be many pet related local vendors, including our friend Meredith of Pet Paintings by Meredith Reynells!

Admission is $25 per person in advance or $30 that day, and includes tasting tickets for brewer booths.  Well behaved dogs are welcome to attend at no additional cost.  Please note that there is an additional fee of $5 per car to park at Thompson’s Point.  For the complete list of brewers who will be participating, and to purchase your tickets, please visit Ales For Tails at Eventbrite.  Proceeds from Ales for Tails will directly support the 4,000+ homeless and displaced animals the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland cares for every year.
