Asa here. With the snow still coming down and piling up, yesterday Chuck Billy and I decided it would be best if we took shifts for neighborhood patrol. As luck would have it I got to go first with Dad. However, when I should have been spreading holiday cheer, I couldn’t help but feel a bit droopy tailed. For you see, I found the perfect gift for Chuck Billy, but I don’t have the money to pay for it. I never would have guessed though, that this winter wonderland walk would lead to the answer to my problem!
While on patrol, we had to step into a neighbor’s driveway to let a snowplow drive by to clear the road for our walk. While we paused there, the neighbor and Dad began to chat about how much easier it was to plow rather than shoveling snow. As they chatted I got bored and started making snow angels. It was at that moment when the neighbor had the solution to my financial woes! He told Dad that he should put me to work clearing snow by pushing it away like the plow!
Brilliant idea! Why didn’t I think of this sooner? I love rolling in snow. It’s about time I turn my passion into my job! After all there is the saying, “do what you love and the money will follow!” However, before I can start rolling in money, I may need to fine tune my snow pushing techniques. Don’t you worry Chuck Billy, I’ll have the money to buy you the best Christmas present in no time!
