Chuck Billy’s Problem Solving Tutorial

Earlier this week I shared my results on the DiSC Personality Test. According to their assessment, I fell under their “Results-Oriented Pattern,” thanks to my dogged determination to solve problems. Asa, on the other paw, didn’t score as well as me. The personality quiz accurately described Asa as being “inattentive to completing tasks.” Therefore today I thought I’d share with him this post from 2015, where I showed off my superior problem solving skills at the tender age of 3 years old. Perhaps Asa could use this tutorial as a guide to improve his critical thinking to reach realistic results in a timely manner.

Step 1: Identify the problem. Dad left my ball on top of the grill again.
Step 2: Think of a plan to correct that problem. I must retrieve my ball from the grill without breaking the “No Jumping Rule.”
Step 3: Make sure Mom isn’t nearby to reprimand me. Mom can be way too overprotective. What could possibly go wrong?
Step 4: Enjoy the spoils of my well conceived problem solving skills! Squeak…squeak…squeak…
Step 5: Now onto solving the next problem. A Golden’s work is never done.  This kiddie pool won’t fill itself with water!
