CPR and First Aid for Pets with Canine Strong

Summer is an awesome time to go on an adventure with your dog. But are you prepared if an emergency happens? Research done by the American Animal Hospital Association shows that 60% of all animal hospital visits are emergency in nature and that 1 out of 4 more pet’s lives could be saved if just one first aid technique was delivered before veterinary care. Therefore, we at Living with a Golden highly recommend taking Canine Strong’s CPR and First Aid for Pets class taught in-person by April Begosh. This 6 hour hands-on workshop covers everything from basic first aid to what to do in an emergency situation, and is a must for all pet owners.

The workshop moves quickly and a lot of valuable information is presented in an easy to understand approach through lecture, demonstrations and hands-on practice.  April also gears the class to fit the needs of the participants and their specific questions.  Although this is a serious subject, April’s approach is at times lighthearted, and does involve a cat joke or two. And yes, she also provides valuable information for caring for cats too!

The CPR and First Aid for Pets Class will be taking place this Sunday, August 15, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at Canine Strong (248 Sheep Davis Rd Unit 7, Concord, NH). The cost is $99. Advance registration is required. Each class participant receives the PetSaver® 40-page handbook full of useful information and an important reference guide in an emergency. In addition, upon successful completion, each participant will receive a 2 year certification in CPR and First Aid for Pets.
