Well apparently the case of the missing dog nail clippers continues!  Guess what arrived on our doorstep on Saturday?  The “undeliverable” replacement clippers Mom ordered a month ago!  Dad thought he canceled that order when we received notice they couldn’t be delivered for unexplained reasons.  Yet, surprise there it was almost a month to the day it was originally ordered!

In typical fashion, Asa didn’t understand the ramifications of this surprise package.  Instead he happily greeted the UPS man, and then proudly carried the envelope upstairs to show Mom.  But being smarter, I read the return address label and had an inkling of what was inside.  So after voicing my displeasure at the UPS man for betraying our trust, I then promptly went to hide in case Dad wanted to test them out right away.

In case you’re keeping count, we now have two new pairs of dog nail clippers: one purchased from the local pet supply store, and another pair ordered online that miraculously showed up after being canceled.  Also the original pair that started this whole mess are still missing.  However, with this most recent turn of events, I wouldn’t be surprised if they turn up soon too.  Oh and if you’re wondering, I haven’t heard back from Netflix on our documentary based on my unfair trial.  I may have to shop the pilot around to other networks.
