As Dogs it is our responsibility to make sure our Humans get outside and enjoy their weekend.  Well as luck would have it, this weekend many of our Humans will have three days off!  But what makes this weekend extra special when compared to previous long weekends in recent months – our opportunities for fun are endless!

As of October 1st, the last remaining town beaches with those pesky dog rules, now allow us all day!  So you and your Human can sleep in a bit, before heading off for endless rounds of fetch on the beach or a leisurely stroll watching the crashing waves from Hurricane Matthew.  Just be very careful getting your paws wet, there will be dangerous riptides!  Another option is to take a hike!  Humans love looking at colorful leaves, even if they don’t appreciate eating them like we do.  This is the perfect opportunity to hit the many dog friendly hiking trails in Maine and New Hampshire!  But where to go?
