Emergency Planning for Your Pets with Canine Strong

Tornado warnings in the northeast, hurricanes in the gulf coast, wildfires out west, disasters can happen at anytime. Are you prepared for your pets during an emergency? June is National Pet Preparedness Month. When an emergency strikes, our pets become even more dependent on us for their health, safety and well-being. Being prepared is more than just having food and medications ready, it also includes having the proper paperwork and identification for your pets.

On Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at 6:30 PM EDT, Healthy Pets NH and Canine Strong will be offering a FREE Facebook live event to discuss how you can prepare for an emergency situation, and to answer your questions. The interactive class will be 30 to 45 minutes, and they encourage sending your questions ahead of time. Canine Strong co-owner April Begosh will be covering:

What should be part of your home evacuation plan
What should be in your pet evacuation kit
How to make a pet first aid kit
How to support your pet through and after the emergency

April Begosh teaches the Healthy Pets NH First Aid and CPR class that we have highly recommended in the past. Therefore we guarantee this class will be informative and presented in an easy to understand manner. To learn more about this emergency preparedness online class, as well as other classes, including their in-person CPR and First Aid for Pets class to be offered this Saturday, please visit CanineStrong.com.
