Fall Dog Party 2017

Grab your camera, hop in the car, and take a scenic ride to leaf-romping, four-legged fun and smiles at the annual Fall Dog Party at Dog Mountain, in St. Johnsbury, Vermont!  Hosted by the Stephen Huneck Gallery and the Friends of Dog Mountain, the Fall Dog Party will be taking place this Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 12 Noon to 4:00 PM.  Don’t miss this canine event of the season with activities for your entire family, both with four legs and two!

For the two-legged members, there will be delicious food, live music, seasonal treats, a bounce house, art activities, and door prizes.  For the four-legged members of your family, there will be lawn games, swimming, and contests!  With plenty of room to run and play, visiting families and their dogs can enjoy Dog Mountain’s leash optional policy from the pastures to the hiking tails, to the whimsical art gallery, all while celebrating Autumn in Vermont!

Admission is FREE for dogs and their humans, but donations are always welcome to help the volunteers maintain this dog paradise.  There will be a nominal fee for the food prepared by local businesses.

Dog Mountain is home to 150 acres of meadows, trails, swimming ponds, Dog Chapel and the Stephen Huneck Gallery.  The Dog Park and Chapel are free and always open to the public.  Dogs are welcome to run off-leash, play, swim, hike and best of all meet other dogs!  Several times a year the Stephen Huneck Gallery on Dog Mountain hosts Dog Parties with hundreds of people and dogs in attendance.  For more information about the Fall Dog Party, and to plan your visit including area dog friendly accommodations, please visit Dog Mountain.
