Fall Dog Party 2022 at Dog Mountain

Mark your calendars because you don’t want to miss the Fall Dog Party at Dog Mountain in St. Johnsbury, Vermont! Hosted by the Stephen Huneck Gallery and the Friends of Dog Mountain, the tail wagging fun will be taking place on Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 12 Noon to 4:00 PM.  Don’t miss this canine event of the season with activities for your entire family, both with four legs and two!

For the two-legged family members, there will be live music by Shrimp Tunes, delicious food, seasonal treats, a bounce house, scavenger hunt with prizes, and raffles. For the four-legged members of your family, there will be lawn games, agility, doggie walk of fame with pup-arazzi, and contests!  And of course there will be swimming, hiking, and fields to play fetch all while celebrating autumn in Vermont!

Admission is FREE for dogs and their humans, but donations are always welcome to help the volunteers maintain this dog paradise.

Also even if you’re not able to attend, be sure to purchase your Dog Party raffle tickets! The grand prize is worth over $1,500 and includes an original “Sticks” signed woodcut print by Stephen Huneck, a lakeside cottage stay on Squam Lake, a Makin’ Maple gift set, and a gift certificate to the gallery! But act now! The deadline to purchase raffle tickets is Friday, September 30, 2022. All raffle proceeds go to support and sustain Dog Mountain, and you do not need to be present at the Fall Dog Party to win.

Dog Mountain is home to 150 acres of meadows, trails, swimming ponds, Dog Chapel and the Stephen Huneck Gallery.  The Dog Park and Chapel are free and always open to the public.  Dogs are welcome to run off-leash, play, swim, hike and best of all meet other dogs!  For more information about the Fall Dog Party, and to plan your visit including area dog friendly accommodations, please visit Dog Mountain.
