Welcome to the 4th Annual Golden Tail Wags Awards! Normally we celebrate the weird and wonderful things we’ve seen on our Dog Friendly Places adventures the previous year. However, nothing was normal about 2020, and we didn’t go anyplace. So today we are turning the spotlight on the delightful cast of characters who made staying home special! Also unlike most award shows where the acceptance speeches go on forever, these will go quickly because most, if not all, of their squeakers are broken! So without further ado, here are the winners of the Golden Tail Wags Awards: Home Edition!

Best Supporting Actor: Nod!

Although Nod has never had a squeaking role, his quiet presence enhances any scene.

Best Actor in a Comedy: Moosey!

You may remember Moosey from his breakout role in “Moosey’s Day Out.”

Best Actress in a Drama: Lambie!

Lambie: “Talk to the paw, because the Lamb ain’t listening!”

Best Ensemble Cast: Miss Caterpillar and Duckie!

Miss Caterpillar and Duckie enjoyed starring together in “Creature Comforts.”

Best Actress in a Musical: Snow Bird!

Snow Bird has gone on to star in “Swan Lake,” but owes her start to this dance routine.

Best Stunt Double: Puppy!

Puppy fearlessly works as Asa stunt double, especially in wrestling scenes.

Best Cameo: Alien!

What? Where?!!

Best Costume Designer: Hoppy Bunny!

Hoppy Bunny is not shellfish, and enjoys making everyone smile.

Lifetime Achievement Award: Miss Caterpillar!

April 2021 will mark Miss Caterpillar’s 4th year starring with Asa.
