Keep Your Head Out of the Clouds

As a renowned Dog Ufologist, I’m always on the lookout for strange crafts in the sky. However, little did I expect to see my local meteorologist dismiss a recent UFO hovering over Turner, Maine as a cloud! Just look at this image by Gerard Ellis! That is no cloud!

The meteorologist actually dismissed it as a lenticular cloud! According to the Weather Underground, “A lenticular cloud is a lens-shaped cloud that normally develops on the downwind side of a mountain or mountain range. This occurs when stable, moist air flows over a mountain, creating a series of oscillating waves. If the temperature at the crest of the wave equals the dew point temperature, condensation occurs in a lens formation. As the air falls down the trough of the wave, where the temperature and dew point temperature are not equal, evaporation occurs. Thus, a wave cloud, or a series of lenticular clouds, is capable of forming. These are often mistaken for UFOs because of the saucer-like shape.”

This is yet another UFO sighting in Maine mistaken as a natural phenomenon. Who could forget the a 300-foot-wide ice disk that was spotted slowly rotating in the Presumpscot River in Westbrook in 2019? Oh sure that was ice!

Or how about just last year when that extraterrestrial was spotted relaxing on the beach on Peaks Island? The “experts” called that a ginormous jellyfish, but we know the truth! That was yet another example of an Alien tourist on vacation in Maine!

Believe what you want, but this Dog Ufologist’s head isn’t in the clouds, and I’m going to keep an eye to the sky in case that UFO drifts my way!

Thank you Gerard Ellis for sharing this UFO “cloud”!
