Labor of Love for Dog Mountain 2022

Humans, have you and your dog enjoyed one of the many tail wagging events held at dog mountain, whether it be one of the many dog parties they host or their concert series? Or perhaps you’ve spent a quiet moment in Dog Chapel reflecting on the memory of a dear loved one who has crossed Rainbow Bridge? Maybe you’ve hiked the trails at this off-leash dog paradise, or watched your dog blissfully swim in the pond or play fetch in the fields? Everyone who visits Dog Mountain Home of Stephen Huneck Gallery in St. Johnsbury, Vermont leaves with a special memory. Therefore it is our turn to give back to a place held so dear to our hearts.

If you live in the area, we hope you can lend a hand at their Labor of Love Volunteer Event, taking place this Saturday, May 14, 2022, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. They are inviting friends of Dog Mountain to volunteer their time, talents, expertise, and sweat to throw Dog Mountain a party of repairs, maintenance, and general sprucing up. It’s a chance for all of us to honor Stephen and Gwen’s legacy and give back to the mountain that’s given us all so much. Lunch will be provided to all volunteers. Come for the day or for a few hours. Whatever you can give!

For an idea of the types of projects they will be working on this weekend, and to RSVP, please visit Dogmt.com.
