Long Strange Trip

Pssst, Asa here.  I have an odd question for you.  Has anyone else noticed the leaves changing colors lately?  It seems like one day they were all green, then the next morning some are yellow, then the following morning there are red and orange mixed in with them.  Everywhere I look I’m noticing more and more of these technicolored trees.  And worst yet, I’m seeing piles of these colorful leaves in the neighbors’ yards.  I swear those piles weren’t there yesterday when we went on our walk!

To be honest this has me really worried.  This all seems to coincide with me sneaking a lick of a mushroom on a recent  hike.  Oh sure Chuck Billy warned me that mushrooms are poisonous and can cause hallucinations.   But I’m a puppy, and puppies explore the world through their mouths.  So how could I possibly resist just a little taste?  But now I’m on this long strange trip!  I keep telling myself to act natural.  I’m going to be in so much trouble if Mom and Dad find out!  Act natural, act natural…

[Chuck Billy’s response: Ok, so I know I probably should have warned Asa about the leaves changing color in Autumn.  But watching the little guy sweat it out is way more fun!]

That's odd. I don't recall the trees being yellow yesterday.
