Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to find as much spare change as possible for the Loose Change Challenge to benefit the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland!
The goal is to raise life-saving funds by collecting the spare and loose coins weighing down purses, tucked away in pockets, forgotten under couch cushions, lonely in drawers, and even hiding in plain sight! No matter the amount, it all adds up to support the shelter pets in need at ARLGP. The Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland is a nonprofit animal shelter serving more than 4,000 homeless and displaced animals annually.
So grab a piggy bank, jar, bag, vase or drawer and start collecting now! Then this Saturday, March 23, 2019, head on down to ARLGP (217 Landing Road, Westbrook, ME) between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM. The folks from Atlantic Federal Credit Union will be there to accept your donation. Best yet, there will even be prizes for the most change collected by an individual, family, or business!
