Mom and Dad’s Response to Negative Attention

Dearest Chuck Billy,

We understand how Asa’s behavior can be annoying, and appreciate your patience with him.  However, you may not recall you acted the same way towards your big brother when you were a puppy.  Day in and day out you would seek Lemmy’s attention, and he would tolerate your antics with little more than a sigh.  Eventually you two became the best of friends and went on so many adventures together.  So please hang in there, continue to be patient with Asa, and try to enjoy it.  Because someday he will outgrow these puppy tantrums, and you may actually miss it.  In the meantime once the teething phase hits full force, you can join us in Lemmy’s old hiding spot under the desk!

Love,

Mom and Dad
