Neither snow nor sleet nor frosty paws will prevent us from our appointed rounds!  On snowy days neighborhood patrol takes on even greater importance for Asa and myself.  While most humans are cozy and warm in their homes, we are out there making sure all is safe in our neighborhood. We scan the fields for any suspicious Coyote activity.

Inspect every snowbank in case a Squirrel needs our assistance.  Yes, we even help Squirrels in need!

We sniff out and track suspicious footprints.

I even have gone as far as to put myself in harm’s way by disarming dangerous branches!

All this so our neighbors can have the peace of mind that if anything is amiss, we’re on it!  No need to thank us though.  It’s our pleasure!  Maybe not so much Dad’s pleasure who we drag along with us, but definitely our pleasure!  And to all Dogs keeping watch over your neighborhoods in less than perfect weather, we salute you!
