Paws Up and Away, Please!

Asa, I agree that after a long day it is nice to relax and put your paws up. I also appreciate that you feel comfortable around me to be yourself. And one can even argue that you’re being very thoughtful keeping your muddy paws off the bed. However, will you please stop using me as a paw rest!

Asa: But if you look closely, here I was attempting to do a rare Tongue Out Tuesday trick in my sleep and I needed your support for my dream to come true!
Asa: And on this day my squeaky friend, Nod, needed his rest so I let him have a bed all to himself! You know that old saying, “let sleeping stuffies lie!” Besides, you’re kind of smiling here.
Asa: Chuck Billy, are you forgetting on this evening I was protecting you from watching that scary movie? You know how they give you nightmares!
Asa: Now that I think of it, you never did thank me for the nice massage I gave you as I practiced my tap dancing in my sleep a few nights ago.
Asa: Ok, now that I see this one, I admit that looks awkward. But I honestly had good intentions…I just can’t remember what they were now.
Asa: Alright, fine! We can try it your way. But it isn’t nearly as relaxing nor helpful.
