Join us this Sunday, June 5, 2016, for the New Hampshire SPCA’s Paws Walk!  The event takes place at Stratham Hill Park (270 Portsmouth Ave, Stratham, NH) from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with the official walk stepping off at 12 Noon.  Walkers can choose between either the 1.5 or 2 mile walk along the wooded park trails.

Paws Walk is much more than a fundraiser walk, it is a dog festival featuring fun activities, dog demonstrations, pet friendly vendors, and delicious food.  In fact, our friends from Purely Oh Dog Bakery will be there selling their delicious gluten-free treats!  Also be sure to visit the Doggie Day Spa, which is Chuck Billy’s favorite part of the day.

Proceeds from Paws Walk help the NHSPCA shelter, feed, and provide life-saving procedures for thousands of homeless animals each year.  Last year’s Paws Walk donations helped to care for over 2,500 homeless animals, provided nearly 10,000 youth with Humane Education programs, aided in the investigation of 775 cruelty complaints, offered 125 behavior and training classes to 563 participants, and so much more!  Registration is $30 for adults and $15 for children under 16, and can be done in advance or at the event on June 5.  For more information, please visit NHSPCA.org.
