Paws Walk Reimagined

Even before they had dogs, Mom and Dad have participated in the NHSPCA’s Paws Walk. They’ve walked in the pouring rain, and on blazing hot days too. They’ve attended when it was held at Wallis State Beach in Rye, and at Stratham Hill Park. Now on Sunday, June 14, 2020, they will be walking virtually to support the NHSPCA at Paws Walk Reimagined!

Although due to restrictions on large gatherings we can’t come together for this important cause, we can all still support this great event by going on a virtual walk. The money raised at Paws Walk provides life-saving medical treatment and a second chance to the dogs, cats, pigs, rabbits, horses and all other animals at their shelter. It also supports their community programs including, the Humane Education classes for children, low-cost rabies clinics, food share program benefitting families in-need, and once the restrictions are lifted their Alzheimer’s Cafe. However, now more than ever they need your support.

To Register all you need to do it go to NHSPCA.org. Adults are $20 and children are free! Then at 12 Noon on Sunday, start walking wherever you are and however far you’d like to go! They are also encouraging everyone to participate in the Wanna Walk Challenge, by sharing a video or photo of how excited your dog is to join Paws Walk Reimagined! Just use the hashtag #WannaWalkChallenge and tag the New Hampshire SPCA, to share your pup’s photo!

While you’re at it, be sure to purchase tickets for the Raffle! Not only will you have a chance to win great prizes, your purchase will ensure that homeless animals in need will receive the love and care they deserve. Also check out the Virtual Vendor Village. Sponsors will be showcasing their products and services on the virtual map. NHSPCA programs are also available to explore there, with instructional videos from trainers and information on programs.

Join us virtually this Sunday, June 14, 2020, for Paws Walk Reimagined!
