Whether you live near or far, all are welcome to participate both in-person and virtual at Paws Walk: The Remix, to benefit the New Hampshire SPCA! Safety is the NHSPCA’s number one priority. Therefore they are offering both in-person and virtual ways to celebrate at the hybrid event. At Stratham Hill Park, there will be smaller groups of socially distanced walkers going out throughout the day. However, if you feel more comfortable walking on your own, then join their interactive virtual walk, in your neighborhood, favorite trail or park.
No matter how you choose to participate you will be helping homeless animals have a second chance. The ongoing pandemic has been difficult for the cats, dogs, pigs, rabbits, horses and and all other animals at their shelter. Through your support you will be helping NHSPCA to continue providing critical, lifesaving care to in-need animals, now and into the future! It also supports their community programs including, the Humane Education classes for children, low-cost rabies clinics, and food share program benefitting families in-need. However, now more than ever they need your support. Paws Walk has been a family tradition for our Mom and Dad even before they had dogs! So please won’t you consider lending a helping paw at Paws Walk: The Remix?
To register for an in-person walking slot, please visit NHSPCA.org. There you will be able to choose your start time of 10:00 AM, 10:45 AM, 11:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 1:15 PM, or 2:00 PM. Face masks will be required, as well as all walkers must pass a health screening the day of the event. Space is limited, and all walkers must register in advance. NO day-of registration will be allowed at Stratham Hill Park. The cost to register for the in-person walk is $30. Or you are welcome to register to be a Virtual Walker for $20. Then lace up your sneakers, grab your leash, and share your pics of your walk with NHSPCA. Not interested in walking but want to lend a helping paw? Donations are always welcomed!
