Pet Food Drive for No Bowl Empty 2 Pet Food Pantry

With the cost of everything increasing, sadly some families have to choose between paying bills and buying pet food. In Maine, pet families are fortune to have No Bowl Empty 2 Pet Food Pantry to turn to for help. Founded in 2015, Nadine Molloy is adamant that “No one should be forced to surrender their pet because they are unable to afford pet food.” Therefore, she has worked tirelessly provide a lifeline to these families by keeping the shelves of the pet food pantry stocked. However, she can’t do it alone! Please consider donating to the Pet Food and Donation Drive to benefit No Bowl Empty 2.

This Saturday, August 20, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM they will be hosting an Open House at the pantry located at 238 Old Alfred Road, in East Waterboro, Maine, which is directly across from Friendship Park. Come check out the food pantry and meet the amazing Nadine, to see first hand the important work she is doing lending a helping paw.

Items most needed are dry dog food (16 lbs bags or larger), canned dog food, canned cat food, clumping cat litter, dog treats, and of course cash. Every donation will receive a free entry into their raffle.

If you can’t make it to the pantry on Saturday, you can still help! You can find the No Bowl Empty Pet Food Pantry Wish List on Chewy.com and Amazon.com, and have your donations shipped directly to them. No Bowl Empty 2 is also working in partnership with the York County Sheriff’s Department to provide backpacks filled with pet supplies for families in need. You can find the items needed listed on the No Bowl Empty 2 Facebook page, and for purchase on their Amazon wish list.

As of July 14, 2022, in the past month, No Bowl Empty has helped 1381 pets, including 176 which belong to Veterans. Please help them with their mission by donating to their Pet Food and Donation Drive.
