It has come to our attention that humans remember things better when set to a familiar tune. Therefore rather than repeat our obvious message of when out on an adventure pick up the poop, in honor of Earth Day Asa wrote a parody to sing on hikes to help remind everyone of this important task. He chose Kiss’ 1983 hit, “Lick it Up,” as his inspiration, because who doesn’t remember where they were in 1983 when then band released their first song without their iconic makeup? Alright, we don’t because Asa and I weren’t born yet, but we hear it was a really big deal. Let’s hope his song parody, Pick It Up, is just as memorable.
