Planets on Parade to Celebrate My Special Day

Stars certainly aligned 11 years ago, when I joined the perfect family for me. To celebrate, the Universe is once again sending me a special gift! If you recall back in January, to celebrate my birthday the extraterrestrials sent me the rare comet, not seen since the ice age. Well in honor of my gotcha day anniversary, once again they have lined up a special treat for their favorite renowned dog ufologist! Five planets — Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Uranus and Mars — will form a parade to the moon!

According to the scientists at NASA, the best time to view this special gift will be tonight, Tuesday, March 28, 2023, on the western horizon, right after sunset. But don’t be late! Mercury and Jupiter have prior engagements, and will disappear approximately 30 minutes after sunset. However, for that brief time you will see these five planets stretching from the horizon to the moon in a parade just for me!

Also you may want to bring binoculars to help view my special gift. Once again Martian Cats are trying to get all the attention with Mars glowing in a reddish hue near the moon. Mars get jealous of Venus which will be the brightest and easiest to spot. Not to be outdone, Jupiter will also be shining with excitement. However, Mercury and Uranus are a little more shy, and star gazers say you’ll probably need binoculars to get a better look at them. It is rare for Uranus to make public appearances to Earth, so this is a true honor.

Although this planetary alignment isn’t exactly rare. There will be another one in June. But this exact configuration won’t happen again until 2040. Therefore, you have to agree that the timing for my gotcha day anniversary is undeniable. Thank you, Extraterrestrials!

The order of the planets will be Jupiter on the horizon, then Mercury, Venus, Uranus, and finally Mars leading the way to the crescent Moon.
