It’s that time of year again to make a big splash at Seacoast Dog Daze 5, dock diving competition and family fun festival! This two day annual event is a family favorite for us, and gets bigger and better each year. This year it will be taking place on Saturday, August 11 and Sunday, August 12, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Hosted by Maine Pet Supply (28 Levesque Drive, Eliot, ME) and Seacoast Dock Dogs, dock diving is an exciting performance sport that is all about fun for dogs, owners and spectators, and features Big Air Wave, Extreme Vertical, and Speed Retrieve competitions.
In addition to the excitement of the dock diving competition, there will be activities for the whole family, including a Pooch Costume Parade with prizes (taking place on Saturday at 1:00 PM), dog agility course, dog obedience demonstration, delicious food, pet-related vendors, and raffles. A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the important work of Canine Companions for Independence!
Attending Seacoast Dog Daze 5 is FREE. Don’t want to simply be a spectator? Whether you’re new to the sport or a seasoned professional, this event is open for ALL dogs to participate! All you need to bring is yourself, your dog, a 4 foot leash, and floating toy. Seacoast Dock Dogs provides the rest. There is a $30 per team registration fee to compete for adults and $15 for youths.
