Spontaneous Puppy Combustion

Uh oh, looks like Asa spontaneously combusted.  Last time I saw him he was happily playing in the living room, and now all that is left are clumps of his fur everywhere.  I really shouldn’t be surprised by this.  Every year millions of puppies spontaneously combust, but no one ever talks about it.  After all, the amount of energy packed in their little fluffy bodies can build up overtime and…POOF!…they’re gone.  I’m lucky I survived my puppy days.  Back then my brain was a ticking time bomb filled with confetti and fluff.

But now I have the sad task of telling Mom and Dad about Asa’s explosion.  I just heard their car pull into the driveway.  Wait, is that Asa with them?!  Dad took Asa on a car ride without me?!!  And he got a treat at the bank?!  This is an outrage!!!  Asa’s going to wish he did spontaneously combust by the time I’m done wrestling with him!
