Har, har, har, very funny, Mom.  It seems Mom does not appreciate my efforts to protect our family from Squirrels.  So she decided to embarrass me by making me wear a ridiculous new collar with pictures of Squirrels on it.  But what she doesn’t realize is that I am doing her a great service protecting us from these furry little villains.

Oh sure Squirrels may look cute and cuddly, but they are actually smelly, noisy and destructive.  They are furry opportunists who will stop at nothing to get what they want.  Kind of like Asa, but that’s a whole different story.  Anyways, it is my duty as a dog to protect my family from them.  Oh sure that may mean a few important phone calls may get cut short due to my barking in the background, and I may interrupt  a meal or two demanding to be let out so I can chase them.  But rest assured I am doing this for your benefit Mom!  Now please take off this stupid collar before the neighborhood dogs see it and laugh at me.
