Summer Dog Party 2023

The dog days of summer are here! What better way to celebrate than at the Summer Dog Party at Dog Mountain in St. Johnsbury, Vermont! Hosted by the Stephen Huneck Gallery and the Friends of Dog Mountain, the tail wagging fun will be taking place this Saturday, August 5, 2023 from 12 Noon to 4:00 PM.  Don’t miss this canine event of the season with activities for your entire family, both with four legs and two!

There will be  live music, food trucks, dog contests, raffle, doggie agility course, and plenty of room to run, romp, swim, hike, and play! Admission is FREE for dogs and their humans, but donations are always welcome to help the volunteers maintain this dog paradise.

Also even if you’re not able to attend, be sure to purchase your Dog Party raffle tickets! The grand prize is worth over $1,800 and includes an original woodcut print by Stephen Huneck, a two night stay at Lake Morey Resort, a Makin’ Maple gift set, and a gift certificate to the Stephen Huneck Gallery and Pack Pass! But act now! The deadline to purchase raffle tickets online is Friday, August 4, 2023. Raffle tickets will also be available for purchase at the event. All raffle proceeds go to support and sustain Dog Mountain, and you do not need to be present at the Summer Dog Party to win.

Also you can make an entire weekend of it, by attending the  Levitt AMP St. Johnsbury Music Series at Dog Mountain on Sunday! Performing on August 6, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM will be Mobley. Austin-based artist Mobley is a songwriter, producer, visual artist, filmmaker, and a charismatic frontman with a reputation for kinetic live shows. The concert is FREE, dog friendly, and there will be food trucks and a beer garden.

Dog Mountain is home to 150 acres of meadows, trails, swimming ponds, Dog Chapel and the Stephen Huneck Gallery.  The Dog Park and Chapel are free and always open to the public.  Dogs are welcome to run off-leash, play, swim, hike and best of all meet other dogs!  For more information about the Summer Dog Party and the concert series, please visit Dog Mountain.
