Doggie Day in the Maze: Leash up your dogs and head to Scamman Farm in Stratham, NH for Doggie Day in the Maze on Friday, September 20 (12 Noon to 5:00 PM) and Saturday, September 21, 2019 (10:00 AM – 5:00 PM). Dogs must stay on leash at all times, and please remember your clean-up bags so that everyone can continue to enjoy the maze. Admission is Adults $9, Children (5-12) $7, Military & Senior $7, and dogs are free!
ARLGP Walking Trail Opening: In partnership with Portland Trails and Evergreen Credit Union, the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland’s walking trail is now integrated into the Westbrook Portland Trails system! The grand opening celebration takes place on Saturday, September 21, 2019, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the shelter’s location on Landing Road in Westbrook, ME. Explore their updated trails with your family, drop-in for a trail scavenger hunt for kids, and bring your well-behaved leashed dog to join the fun.
9th Annual Woofstock Festival: The Buddy Dog Humane Society invites you to their 9th annual Woofstock Festival! The event takes place on Saturday September 21, 2019, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Hudson Elks Pavilion, Hudson, MA. There will be over 100 vendor booths, raffles, delicious food, live music, activities for kids, contests, agility and dog demonstrations, with all proceeds to benefit the Buddy Dog’s mission to help pets in need find forever homes.
Walk for the Animals: Help to provide shelter, food and medical care to the many lost and abandoned pets at the Pope Memorial SPCA by participating at their annual Walk for the Animals. The event takes place on Sunday, September 22, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Northeast Delta Dental, 1 Delta Dr, Concord, NH. Choose from either a 1 mile walk or a 3 miles walk with all proceeds to help the important mission of Pope Memorial SPCA. In addition to the walk there will be vendors, food tents, activities for children and dogs, and raffles.
