Welcome to My Party

Hey, thanks for coming to my birthday party! I’m 8 years old today! Asa really went above and beyond planning this surprise party for me. So while I go mingle with the other guests, I’ll let him show you around all the stuff we’ve got going on today. Enjoy my party! I’ll chat more with you later.

Yes, you go enjoy your birthday party, Chuck Billy. I’ll show your guests around. So first off you’ll see on that table over there I have an assortment of Chuck Billy’s favorite food. Grab a plate! We have homemade treats from his favorite barkery, as well as cheese, chicken and venison to snack on. Oh and a veggie platter in case a certain veterinarian drops by today. But don’t worry, there’s plenty of peanut butter for dipping those vegetables. Be sure to check out the special cake I made for him shaped like his favorite bacon scented squeaky ball! We’ll be slicing that up to serve once all the guests arrive.

Now over to the right I cleared a space for the dance floor. I made a special playlist for this party with everything from metal for moshing to Frank Sinatra crooning for slow dances, and of course all the pop hits from the ’80s through today for karaoke! And as a special surprise for Chuck Billy, “Baby Shark” will be played after each song! Oh he’s going to love singing along to it over and over again!

In the next room I set up some party games that Chuck Billy enjoys. You can work alongside the famous dog detective solving crimes with Clue. Or how about testing his vast knowledge with a game of Trivia Pursuit. Spoiler alert, my big brother really does think he knows it all! We also have bobbing for tennis balls, in which you can challenge Chuck Billy to beat his personal best of two balls at once. And no your eyes aren’t fooling you, that is my unique twist on everyone’s favorite party game, pin the tail on the donkey. Except rather than use a picture of a donkey, I’m using a photo of Chuck Billy!

Once you get bored of board games, head on outside for a special game of fetch with New England Patriot’s Quarterback, Tom Brady. He’ll be happily throwing the ball all afternoon. That’s actually the real reason why he’s not at the Super Bowl this weekend. He didn’t want to miss Chuck Billy’s big birthday bash! Oh and for you pups from away, Mother Nature has been nice enough to leave plenty of snow for you to roll, dig, and make snowmen.

Now if you’ll please excuse me, I better go check on Chuck Billy. He’s over there by the TV where we have a marathon of his favorite show, Ancient Aliens, playing all day. Thank you for celebrating his birthday with us. Today Chuck Billy has achieved something our big brother angel Lemmy never did. Chuck Billy is officially 8 years old, and that’s certainly a reason for us to celebrate!

It’s great to be 8!
Spoiler Alert: The cake doesn’t smell like bacon nor does it squeak like Chuck Billy’s favorite ball, but I can guarantee it will taste much better than the toy!
Mom, enough with the photos. Let’s get this party started!
