Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue cordially invites you to attend an open house at Riverview, their state of the art rescue, adoption and education center, on Saturday, October 5, 2019. Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue (YGRR) is considered a leader and role model in the field of breed-specific rescue. Riverview (110 Chapin Road, Hudson, MA) is their 21-acre property designed to include all the creature comforts for Goldens awaiting their forever homes.
Come meet the staff, volunteers and, of course, the Goldens of Riverview! The open house will be taking place from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and includes tours of their kennels with private in-door and out-door runs. There will also be grooming demonstrations in their Grooming Room which comes equipped with a bathing tub for senior and special needs Goldens. Also the Goldens will be more than happy to show off their specially designed in-ground swimming pool. In addition, Golden Goodies will be available for sale, including the 2020 YGRR Calendar. There will also be raffle baskets.
YGRR is a non-profit, charitable 501(c)(3) organization which provides veterinary care and permanent new homes for Golden Retrievers from the six New England states: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Goldens may be admitted to YGRR from outside New England on a case-by-case basis. When we attend the New England Golden Jubilee at Dog Mountain, we love meeting many YRGG alumni, who are now enjoying life with their forever families.
