Cabin Fever with Puppy Asa

Cabin fever has definitely been setting in here this winter. However, Mother Nature is delivering to us fresh snow to play in today. This winter we actually have a snow deficit here in our neck of the woods in Maine by approximately 10 inches. Compare that to the winter when Asa first joined our family, and we had one of the snowiest winters on record. That year on the night he was born in November – it snowed, on the afternoon my parents first met him – it snowed, on the day they brought Asa home – it snowed, and it kept right on snowing through March and into April that year!

Who would believe I’d ever complain about having too much snow? But I did! Although I think part of my frustration was being stuck inside puppy-sitting my little brother when I’d rather be out playing in it. Speaking of which, Asa and I are headed out to go play in the snow now. So please enjoy this video from 2015 when I was “Snowed-in with Asa.”
