Holiday Cheer for No Bowl Empty 2 Pet Food Pantry

During the Holidays, while you’re addressing cards to friends and family, please consider sending one that will help keep dog bowls filled. Join us in supporting the Christmas Card Fundraiser for No Bowl Empty 2 Pet Food Pantry!

Between now and December 31, 2023, they are asking everyone to mail No Bowl Empty 2 a Christmas card with a $1 bill in it, or more if you want. That’s less than the cost of a cup of coffee! Yet if everyone did it, those dollar bills will quickly add up. In fact if a quarter of their 2,000 followers do it, that’s $500! If half of their followers do it, that’s a $1,000! And if everyone did it, that’s $2,000! That would help No Bowl Empty keep their shelves stocked with much needed dog and cat food, and other supplies to help feed pet families in need this winter.

Whether it is a favorite store bought card, or a special one made just for them, all cards will be displayed on Facebook and Instagram. Then on January 1, 2024, they will have a drawing from all cards received and the winner will receive their choice of a No Bowl Empty 2 T-shirt or Sweatshirt! You don’t need to be on either social media site to be entered to win. All cards will be eligible!

All you need to do is mail a Christmas card with $1 to:

No Bowl Empty 2 PFP

238 Old Alfred Road

East Waterboro, ME 04030

It’s that simple! But can make a world of difference in helping No Bowl Empty 2 Pet Food Pantry’s mission that “No one should be forced to surrender their pet because they are unable to afford pet food.” This has become especially true during these difficult economic times. So please, won’t you help us spread Holiday cheer this Christmas? Also for those who joined us in participating in a similar fundraiser last Valentine’s Day, they raised over $1,000! So let’s see who does better Santa or Cupid in keeping bowls filled!

In addition to the Christmas card fundraiser, they are also accepting pet toys to give to clients, as well as pet toys and gift cards for their humans for unhoused families as part of their Christmas Stockings Project. So if you’d like add a little extra that would also be greatly appreciated. To learn more about other ways to help please follow No Bowl Empty 2 on Facebook or Instagram.

As of October 2023, No Bowl Empty 2 Pet Food Pantry helps 2,174 pets per month. Named one of the 20 Outstanding Women of 2022 by Hannaford and Maine’s Coast 93.1, founder Nadine Molloy is adamant that No Bowl Empty 2 Pet Food Pantry is a judgement-free pet pantry. It is operated out of her garage, and provides food and supplies to pet owners experiencing hardship in Maine. We first met Nadine while attending an event in 2015.
