Summer World Tour Winding Down

As Asa’s World Tour of Maine winds down for the summer, I say it was a big success! Especially since when we set off on this grand adventure, as the tour manager, I really wasn’t sure what to expect, with an up-and-coming rock star, and an inexperienced road crew consisting of Mom and Dad. Yet under my expert leadership, starting in June we made 12 stops at towns in Maine named for countries and famous cities. Along the way we visited parts of Maine that we have never seen before, discovered towns we didn’t know existed, and explored a lot of trails.

Did everything work out smoothly? Of course not! The weather didn’t always cooperate, we went to the wrong places a couple times, and we even got lost. Oh and we got heckled too, but that was really cool! We also saw amazing views, met some really big fans, added Llily Llama as a back up squeaker, sang the occasional song, and learned a lot about the great state of Maine!

And we’re not done! We still have approximately 2 dozen more places to visit! But before we do, we are going to celebrate our accomplishments with a little break to rest and recharge. But stay tuned for the fall leg of Asa’s World Tour of Maine!

For those who missed any stops, want to reminisce, or perhaps would like to explore these places too, you can follow along on Facebook and X (formerly Twitter) using #AsasWorldTourOfMaine. Or on our blog by visiting the LivingwithaGolden.com “World Tour” archives.

Sorry this highlights collage is blurry. But to be honest this first leg of the tour is a bit of a blur to us with all the places we visited!
Thank you for joining us on the first part of the tour this summer. Stay tuned for the fall leg of Asa’s World Tour of Maine!
